Program Fees

East Coast Fencing Club Membership

Membership is valid from September 1st through August 31st of the following year. Membership fees are non-refundable.

Intermediate & Advanced Membership — $500/year

Membership includes:

  • Club jacket

  • Club patch

  • Club backpack

  • Access to member-rate lesson packages

  • Member pricing for fencing camps and special training sessions

  • Unlimited Open Fencing access

  • Eligibility to represent ECFC in tournaments and team events

Beginner Membership — $225/year

Membership includes:

  • Member pricing for fencing camps and special training sessions

USA Fencing Membership

All fencers must have a USA Fencing membership - membership with USA Fencing is required for all fencers, including guests and open bouting.

Class and Lesson Fees

Open Fencing
Member: Free / Non-member: $20

Private Lessons (20 min)
Beginner Member: $55 / Non-member: $65

Group Classes

Beginner:

  • Regular Rate: $40 per class

  • Attending 2 or more classes per week: $35 per class

  • Non-member Rate: $50 per class

Beginner Intro Package

First 10 Beginner Group Classes — $350

This is a one-time introductory package for new Beginner students.
The package is non-transferable and may not be shared.

The annual Beginner Membership fee is waived during the first 10 classes.

Beginner Program

All new fencers without prior fencing experience will begin in the Beginner Program.

Advancement to the Intermediate Program is based on the coach’s evaluation and successful completion of the Move-Up Test. Students should demonstrate the necessary fundamental skills, techniques, and ability to understand and follow coaching instructions before moving up.

All fencing equipment needed for the Beginner Program will be provided by the club.

Once students move into the Intermediate Program, they are expected to have their own fencing equipment for regular training and fencing practice.

Intermediate Package

Intermediate Level is based on age and experience. Progression to Competitive level is subject to coach’s discretion based on personal capability and performance. Fencers in this group level must have their own fencing equipment.

*Payment is due at the beginning of each semester no later than the 5th day. After due date 1.5% late fee will be applied.

Monthly Intermediate Group Classes: $475 for 5 classes a week.

Quarterly Intermediate Group Classes: $1350 for 3 months.

Advanced Package

Competitive package is competitive and is focused on achievements. Fencers in this level go to regional, national and international competitions. Fencers in this group level must have their own fencing equipment.

*Payment is due at the beginning of each semester no later than the 5th day. After due date 1.5% late fee will be applied.

Advanced Group classes: Monthly $475 for unlimited 6 classes a week

Quarterly Group Classes: $1350 for unlimited 6 classes a week

Payment Policy

Payment is due before class or lesson.

Students must have sufficient credit in their account before attending group classes or private lessons.

Cancellation Policy

  • All lessons must be cancelled no later than 10pm the night before the lesson; after that, a charge will be applied.

  • Make up lessons will be accomodated ONLY during the quarter the lesson was missed.
